 At St Ives Chiropractic Centre your treatment and rehabilitation program is personalised. The content and length of your program will be developed using modern Evidence Based Chiropractic Principles and explained to you at the start. Treatment is only for what you clinically need - no prepaid plans or contracts!! 

No matter what the issue is, our team will work closely with you to help you recover from your particular injury, or to manage a chronic condition. Good chiropractic treatment will ensure that young bodies continue to mature safely and that older bodies maintain maximum mobility for the rest of their lives.

In addition to our classic chiropractic techniques the clinic also utilises other interventions, as indicated, such as a variety of soft tissue release techniques, dry needling (derived from acupuncture), myofascial cupping, semi customised orthotics and exercise therapy!

At your initial Chiropractic consultation, you will need to allow 45-60 minutes. You will be asked to complete a questionnaire.  The Chiropractor will take a thorough history and perform a tailored and detailed physical examination.

On most first visits treatment is applied unless further tests are required. Occasionally, X-rays will be ordered by your Chiropractor and this can usually be done on Medicare. 

On your standard visit allow 30 minutes. This includes the chiropractic and 10 minutes of heat beforehand to improve circulation and relax spasm. We recommend you wear shorts and singlet top or active-wear. We also have a range of suitable gowns.
